Count me in, particularly if we are talking about the 3 forward pieces. OEM parts are priced as if made from titanium but actually appear to be made from rust, coated in lead impregnated paint.

An ideal replacement would be light, durable and priced proportionately to its cost of manufacture.

I tend to agree with feral. That is a LOT of money, which is why a good set of pictures detailing exactly what is available and the general quality of the kit would do wonders for the seller.

But it's still a lot cheaper than replacing the standard tinwear & it won't rust.

For the UK guys I think there are other people selling them although I don't know whether they're for 964's or earlier engines but may be worth a call. I also have no idea what the quality is like.

I've stuck a couple of photos on my old engine build thread to show my engine tin although it wasn't fully fitted and the engine came apart soon after. Not glossy sales photos but just to give an idea.

If you want to see mine a couple of years down the line a bit grubbier but still in good shape and no cracks or distortion then I get along to a few of the London 964 meets.

4 weeks back I ordered a set from R-to-RSR but this is now looking to be a big mistake!
