Just Bought a 964!
After months of searching, beginning with 80's era 911s, I bought a 1999 C2 964 with 63K miles. It truly looks new! Black on black. Inspection was confidence invoking; I will need brakes in around 6,000 miles, but current driving patterns suggest this won't occur for 8-12 months. Will likely use Ebell Performance in Clearwater for service. Rear tires are huge 335/30ZR19s ( I know, these are $400 each). Tires should be good for another 9K or so. Drove back from Sarasota in a driving rain, but the ragtop experienced not a drop of water inside and the car hugged the road as if glued . My first 'real' sports car ( late mid-life crisis). Long time Harley Davidon rider, with a itch that had to be scratched. Special mention to the seller , Hawley Motors in Sarasota. They were so simply the best in every regard!

Congratulations! Do you have any pictures? What are you plans for the car? Will you be keeping it as is or do you have any planned mods? And how will you be using the car?

No, it is a 1999. Rainy day here in Dunedin,Fl. Pics to come. After the rainy drive home I dried her off, gave her a quick polish, cleaned the wheels, and cleaned/treated the rag top.
Oh, and I did wipe the leather down with Lexol. Checked the oil and didn't appear to be missing an ounce. Picked up a filter cartridge and two quarts of Mobil One (for incremental adds). I will be doing the oil chanes myself when needed (will stay with Mobil One 5W30 as per local dealer recommendation).

Congratulations on your new car, and pictures please, but if it is a 1999 model, it is not a 964, it would be a 996, which would also make sense, cause I don't think you can fit 335/30/19 wheels and tires on the 964.

Is there a place to add coolant in your 964?
No worries, when I first saw the term "C4" I thought, "You gotta be kidding me, they made a four-cylinder version??? No way, not for me !!!" Duh.
