Default Wish me luck.......

have been stalking here for a while enjoying all of the knowledge shared.
Now it is time to pull the trigger on my first Porsche if everything checks out.

The car is a '92 Carrera 2 in Cobalt blue with 129,000 miles. It will go for a PPI on friday and I have booked a flight for the 400 mile trip up to NorCal to see the car and hopefully drive her back to SoCal.

good luck with it! - Make sure it doesnt have the undertray still under the engine and if it does - make sure you do a leakdown in the PPI. Compression test wont tell the whole story, and I would worry if it has the undertray...

Good luck with the PPI. Cobalt is a great color.

I've always had a soft spot for Abarths myself, Carlo was a genius at wringing out power from such little engines.

Thanks !
One of Abarths best was the Abarth Carerra in the '60s.
Italian style and German muscle !

I remember one of them back in the mid 60s, raced at a local track, what a mean machine, had the longest exhaust coming out the back, pretty much straight up in the air.

I think that Cars & Coffee in Irvine will be the coming out party. Always a big Porsche contingent, but few 964s.

I'll trade you if you have a wonderful Colbalt Blue 964 like Abarth's.
Great looking car Abarth, that will get some attention at Cars & Coffee!
