Help! Keys locked in car after jumpstart...
Just went to drive home and the battery was dead...got a jump and the alarm instantly went off amd the doors locked. Now my keys are locked in the car! I'm 2 hours from home...any ideas to get the doors open? The frunk is open if that helps at all...but i think im probably screwed!!!

At this point, unless I have a revelation soon, I'm going to take the day off work tomorrow and have my wife drive my spare key down...checking in to a hotel room soon, and of course my wallet is locked in the car too!!! Thank God I have all my credit/debit card numbers/expiration/security codes memorized...yeah I'm weird like that! They better not give me any lip about not having ID when I check in!!!

My wife is on the way with a new Bosch battery from Pep Boys and the spare key - but get this! The spare key was locked away in a small safe...the key for which is LOCKED IN MY CAR!!! I had her bring a chisel and a sledge hammer as well, hope I can pop it open...worst case scenario the safe will make a good blunt force object to break the window , but its raining

A remote keyless would have been the ticket in this instance as I've heard that your wife would have been able to hold your extra remote on the telephone and you could have used your phone to open the car. I've never tried this but apparently it works!
Sorry for your stressful day!

BTW I was in the same situation once (minus the safe) and wasted time with the PET wiring diagrams trying to figure out how to get at the central locking circuits from the frunk.... no go, without a lot of disassembly.

...oh, and as for your storage arrangements, I have a negative ground disconnect assembly on my battery so all my drained battery woes disappeared. I store my car at a storage facility as well and got tired of having to push the car out and to jumper-start her. I really haven't noticed any issues with DME readaptation.

Chase, Sorry to hear this. Yet another reason to exorcise the evil immobilizer, electric lock fandango.
Time to remember the engineers saying "if it isn't there, it can't break"
Hope it all works out.
Cheers, James
