I am looking to find a professional upholster who understands how to properly apply alcantara to a 964 dash. First local attempt was not so successful in their application of the material.

As far as pictures of the previous job...well let just say, numerous heavy wrinkles, seams not following style lines, seams in the wrong locations due to numerous failed attemps and running out of fabric. Basically an ugly job, prefer not to post pictures.

I will contact AP Designs. Any other suggestions?

 

There was a guy on the 993 board who had a spectacular job done. You might want to post over there as well as the 911 board, since the dashes are all very similar.

Update - contracted with Classic 9 Leather Shop to perform the proper application of Alcantara on the dash. Photos on their site look like first rate craftsmenship. I will post photos upon completion.
