What do YOU find when adjusting your valves?
I just did my second valve adjustment (12,500 miles since the last; 125k mi total) and pretty much all of them were still adjusted correctly. I did tweak a couple, but there's no guarantee that I didn't mess it up a little the first time.
What are others' experiences? Do you need to actually make adjustments frequently?
TIA!

On my first adjustment I found almost all of them but a few had a smaller clearance than .004 and only 1 was loose and the rest were right on. I'm curious to see what my next adjustment will look like. I'm not sure how long it had been between adjustments when I did it since I had just bought the car and there wasn't any proof of adjustments in the paperwork I received from the PO.

I find that the valves haven't moved much. I've gotten to where I can rattle the rocker and hear if its too tight or too loose. Majority of the time, the valves haven't changed.

That was good for me to hear, as I'm hoping the stars align next time and I can attempt to do it myself.

Obviously not on my 993, but on my other vehicles, I record my as-found valve clearances before making any necessary adjustments.
Over time, my records will indicate if I can extend my valve adjustment intervals. That saves me time and concern.
Loose valves aren't an issue; tight ones are.

Thanks for the responses so far; given what I found and what others are reporting I think that my next adjustment interval will be larger than 12.5k.
Which is good; it's kind of a pain to do.
