The first Saint Bernard in a 964?
As a condition for my buy of a 964 my said that our dog had to fit. And should maybe wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have a 60kg saint bernhard. But I made a shelf resting on the folded back seat and put two legs in forward, to the front seats. 
When she tested the my new car, she wanted to bring her favorite toy, a chewed ball with Spiderman on it.
If someone wonder, I will buy a harness that could be attached to safety belt so she, and we, will be somewhat safe.

Three Wheelin'
I had to take my 150 lb St Bernard/Lab in my 964 a couple of times. Of course, he only rode in the front seat. I wish I had a picture, but I would guess that there are a few people around town that do. Good luck!
