Looking good. I hear their pieces are better than most. I need to source a banana for my car.

Thanks all. Excited and very happy.

Car is loaded up (Oh Man! The new winch is wonderful!!!) and we're off to the track at noon.

Have moved the car twice and only stalled 8 times before I got the feel for the new clutch.

Edit to add a few more first impressions (I've only pulled the car down the lane and into the garage):

The Cup power Steering feels sublime - thank goodness we made this change. The shifter and linkage (of course the Rothsport unit I had, plus a Goldenrod and a bit of work) feel absolutely positive and the gate is narrower). There is a tiny (!!!) sweet spot in the 1/2" throw at the clutch to dump and engage.

Vision to the rear is really not bad at all. I can also push the car out of the garage with one hand (!!!).

The cacophony inside the car with the engine running is awesome - throttle response is insane (like F1 insane), the clutch assy rattles wonderfully and the intake noise is a sound of glory. This is one mind-bending engine.

My seat fits wonderfully! I tried about ten different ones at tracks all summer to find this one and am very glad that I did.

Kai, Steve, I knew nothing about Gamroth until reading these threads. So had to look him up on the web. If this is him at Rennsport Reunion IV, mixing it on track with 962s, spyders and the like, it's pretty impressive stuff to have a test pilot for Claudia as good as that!

Yep, Speedo (Jeff Gamroth) is a superb driver with insane car handling skills; really pro level.

We're at the track motel this eve...car is where she belongs, trackside.

Hey Kai, I'm over in Michigan for most of July. Are you racing anywhere that's drivable from there during July? Would love to come check out Claudia doing her thing.
