Just thought I'd post a pic of my new 964.
It's a '91 C2 finished in Amazon Green and traveled only 23,000 miles from new and is basically like a brand new car...I just love it.
As far as mod's go, I'll probably keep it standard, for the mean time anyway.
Thanks for looking

Where did you find that beauty hiding Ash? Looks amazing! Just picked up my new (to me) 964 today also and been driving around Auckland with a silly grin!
Did you used to have a white SC?

Hi Pete
It took a wee bit of detective work and some gentle persuasion as the owner didn't really want to sell it. The car was originally owned by the Sultan of Brunei and brought to New Zealand in 2001 with less than a thousand miles on the clock. I knew as soon as I saw the car that I had to own it and probably going to have to pay too much for it, but hey that's life, you get what you pay for.
Glad to see you're also driving a new 964, they're great cars that's for sure, as everyone on this great forum will no doubt concur.
Yes, I did own the low mileage white SC, it ended up going to Australia...very sad to see it go.
Drop me an email - awebb@parkside.co.nz and we'll organise to catch up some time. Woops, hope I can do this.

Will do Ash - would love to see it in the flesh. I came so close to calling you about the SC but it was just so pristine I couldn't bear the thought of putting 15,000km per year on it! (I know, they're meant to be driven!!!)

So you're telling me that the Sultan babied this car through 1000 miles over 9 years, and then some crazy Kiwi racked up 22000 miles over the next 12 years!!!
She sure is a beauty, and I thought my '93 with 51K kms was nice. More pictures please!

Thanks Nick, it's a great place to meet like minded 964 owners.
f3nr15 - Yes, that's exactly what happened. Luckily the NZ owner pampered it over the last 12 years even though he racked up 'all those miles'. I've looked at your car many, many times on this forum, it's also a truly magnificent example. If you're ever over on this side of the ditch be sure to look us up, there's a great bunch of 964 owners over here.

Welcome! Great looking car. Finding one with such low mileage is terrific. Remember all of the rubber bits can still age without driving. I would be sure to check them.
