5 GT4S cars registered; the largest class so far. We were planning on doing very well indeed...

Then Alexandra Sabados registered!

So what? She's only the Reigning National Champ in GT4S. Imagine the fear in her of the "unknown" new kid on the block. Kai Bach, soon to be podium bound. A step at a time brutha

i'm not familiar with the racing class.

how will this thing compare to say a 996 GT3 - stock with decent rubber? eg can you quote some lap times .. eg GT3 = 2.XX and Claudia = 2.XX .. or whatever - faster / slower? just curious.

A normal track prepped 6GT3 will not stay with us (drivers equal)...we expect to be within 2.5 seconds of the track record for a 6Cup at the smaller tracks.

At this level, virtually everything and all times are a function of the driver, not the car.

Fenders are factory steel.

Hood, rear deck, rear bumper and the doors are Getty.

I have no clue where the roof came from.

wow .. this sounds quick ... so very roughly .. say on a 2.00min track lap

2mins 0 secs = 996 cup
2min 2.5sec = claudia
2.? = 996 GT3

very roughly

Default Unanimous!

Kai, everybody loves your car but the competition (just because they are jealous and for no other reason) Wiener and Gamroth are to be congratulated on what is an excellent build. Kai, for the money you have spent, do yourself a favor and get a photographer.. or a really good camera for your own sake. There is nothing like years later and having a grat build documentation to back up what was really there. What an incredible car! I will bet that Claudia has real pucker power!

Believe it or not, I have two very nice Nikons and a bag 'o lens(es)...and a Manfrotto I haven't used in two years - plus Dad's old kit of 35 stuff.

I've made a hobby out of photography forever.

These must be excused...the puppy was jumping on me, wind blowing 35mph and I just wanted snapshots for my buddies.
