Default Daul Exhaust

Any interest in a Fabspeed? Have one for sale. Single in, dual out. Great sound.

I have heard of people putting 993 exhaust system on 964's.

I would love to have a bit more power, but I really dont want to
generate a lot of noise.

Does anyone have any experience with a 993 exhaust.

Some Porsche urban legend says that this is very effective for more power but I have never seen definitive results. It is not a direct bolt on either. The mount flanges on one of the heat exchangers (left side I believe) have to be re-positioned 180 degrees to mount to the 964 heads. The 993 mufflers also do not fit as there is not enough room for them under the rear of the 964. Some oil line changes are needed too i think. It has been done many times though and hopefully some that have done this mod can chime in. In the meantime have a look here. http://www.instant-g.com/

Thanks for that clarification. I am exploring exhaust upgrade options, but I really dont want something loud. Noisy exhaust's annoy me and my neighbors, plus it attracts the attention of local law enforcement. I prefer to maintain a stealthy presence on the street.

I have a Fabspeed dual outlet exhaust and it's awesome . Pretty loud and I always get compliments. Your other option is a b&b dual outlet which is very nice

Default Fabspeed

I have the Fabspeed also...It has the second outlet blocked off. I like the sound.
