The man has skills! Wow your fan was toast!

Love the shots with Impact Bumper car...and why do people think the 964 is ugly in comparison?
Given the laws and regulations at the time, Porsche did a pretty good job with the impact bumpers...but really? Nice touch going with the RS center section also.

Why do I get the feeling when I do my first valve adjustment soon, this thread will come to mind, and cause it to become a two-month project?

Very well done.

Great post. I wish you'd posted it a month ago before I started mine. Those tensioner gaskets are dripping on mine, but I hadn't ordered them up, so they will have to wait. I'm doing my alternator and fan bearing next, so the pics help! Where did you source the fan bearing?

Sunset had the best price at the time, $130 something. Some other places wanted $90-100 more than that.

Great job! I appreciate your attention to detail. I'll be upgrading my engine carrier starting this weekend, so your post is very timely! Thank you.

I just want to say that some people say they have been able to do the engine carrier w/o removing the rear bumper, so don't think you have to specifically take my approach.

Nice work Ramon. You need to open the trunk and show off that engine at the next C&C. Car would look awsome after the suspension work.

Makes me want to buy back my 964.

Great work Vandit, it is treads like yours that inspired me to do a full on car maintenance this past winter. You ar also skilled in documentation, which is where I am not very dilligent. By the time my hands are deep in gunk and oil, the camera is long forgotten, and then its too late. Congrats and well done. You are much more meticulous than I'll ever be.
