At the risk of repeating a few others - AWESOME! And truly inspirational. Suddenly I feel very impatient about getting all the mods and improvements I want done to my car!!

I think I've now watched the video ten times to remind myself of the great time we had.
That is great to hear. And to that point, I have met a bunch of Rennlisters that "congregate" on other Rennlist boards and we have had a blast each time. I have met the "993" crew from Nashville, and of course the "997GT3" crew from California. Just last year, a bunch of the Georgia/Florida crew on the "997GT3" board met in North Carolina to drive the famous Tail of the Dragon road. We caused such a ruckus that the state police set up a road block! (which many of us managed to bypass btw)... The video from that trip - though epic - offers only a sliver of the fun you guys had...

Again, thanks guys for that video and of course the threads leading up to the epic event. Have even more fun next year!

Someone (not me) just posted a topic about the video on the PCGB forum and this is what they had to say:

Someone sent me this Porsche road trip / Spa video . A cracking clip and well worth taking 5 mins out to watch it thru .

http://vimeo.com/39424048

Theres something I really like about a well sorted 964.....
and:

I agree, great little video, got me in the mood for Spa in Oct, bring it on!!

it's got me thinking continually about my 964 I sold about 15 years ago and wishing I still had it. In my opinion the 964 is one of the best looking 911's ever.

I was thinking of my 964 friends, while driving a nice 968 CS during the Porsche Francorchamps Days last weekend. Can't wait to get my 964 finished!

I was there on Saturday and Sunday, started off cold, but ended with beautiful sunny weather on Sunday. Will go back some more later this year.

Just watched Racing Legends on BBC2 about Stirling Moss this evening. An orchestral/beatless version of the soundtrack (first half) was used and was immediately familiar. What is it? (sorry if this is a repeat question Frank.

Watching the video every few days as (a) I miss my car and (b) can't wait for Spa

I think Frank's down with the flu at the moment, so to quote him earlier:

The two tracks are: Time (Happy Plants Remix) by Hans Zimmer & Animus Vox by The Glitch Mob.
I too have noticed the 'Time' piece used car films, including tonight's Stirling Moss program. I like to think that it was Frank who had the idea first and they're all copying him.

Thanks. I knew it had been bugging me, it's from the soundtrack to Inception given the remix treatment. Hans Zimmer also did the soundtracks to the new Batman films, and invented a helmet restraining device for use in motorsport.

I don't know if you saw Top Gear last night Frank when they profiled the 991 and then the Singer, but they used the Hans Zimmer "Inception" soundtrack when they unveiled the Singer.

I reckon they've been watching your movie.
