Default 928 Jack on a 964

has anyone used a 928 jack on a 964? Does it work? My Audi has a jack just like this 928 jack and it works very well...

No, never tried.

Might work but the 964 jack looks completely different, and it fits into a pocket in the jack pad.

You might damage the car using the incorrect jack.

thats why I am wondering if anyone has tried one - the fitting looks the same, but the flange doesnt look as wide - so not sure if maybe the hole on the 928 is more robust? dont want it widening the hole on the jackport...

I don't know, I haven't even been in a 928 much less worked on one since probably 1989.
