I would only clay bar every 3-6 months tops. It just isnt required more frequently with a good wax regime

A good bug remover should beat the fly squash. If that fails then a tar remover.

Following the above sequence for an intial clean I would also add in a Polish / Paint Cleaner after clay bar and before waxing. You could also use a paint sealer then before wax.

Again I would only polish every 3 months and rely on wax protection and a top-up quick detail spray
