I'm not sure you should be too surprised at the price. It's only about four times what you would expect - a bargain by Porsche part-pricing standards. ;-)

You'll have to pay a lot of $$$$ for that piece of glass without a hole . . . .

Meh, I have serious doubts that my 100k mile C2 will ever be "valuable" in a '67 911 sense.

Step 1: Remove functioning rear wiper assembly and related hardware
Step 2: Store all hardware somewhere safe
Step 3: Install rear wiper delete plug
Step 4: Enjoy your car, sans rear wiper
Step 5: Wait for car to become "valuable" as it relate to wiper
Step 6: Reinstall wiper assembly
Step 7: Profit!

Personally, i'm glad my car is not equipped with a rear wiper. My daily driver hatchback has a rear wiper, and not only do I never use that wiper, I also have never replaced the wiper blade on that thing since new (2003), since there's no point.

LOL... Look at it. Is there any other aspect of the car that so perfectly and elegantly captures Porsche's over the top design philosophy? The damn thing must have 50 separate parts! I'm surprised it's as cheap as it is!
