And next time, maybe not overreact so much? Give the vendors a chance to sort it out first - then use the boards if the outcome isn't satisfactory. It sounds like they solved the situation, so no need to drag their name through the mud in the first place...

The topic is not OT - it is Porsche 964 related.

Sorry... I edited my last post on the prior page with an update, guess nobody saw that.
I'll expand on that a bit as well...

Apparently, the box does have to be opened to configure the Dashdaq for the zeitronix, but no explanation as to why the top of the box was completely torn off and missing or why the zeitronix box was not sealed and was missing a part.
Missing part on the way and new cd on the way (did not play in cd-rom drive, tried 3 computers)

The screen has no dead pixels and having purchased other lcd displays with bad screens, I know
that another one could possibly be faulty, so I'll keep this one. No sense getting another one since everything seems to be working properly.
Perhaps an overreaction on my part, perhaps not.
...but I sure would hate to order a new IPAD and it arrive in similar condition.
Anyway...case closed.

Not yet... won't have the time for a couple weeks. Yeah, I can also use it on my truck, suv, and e55 via obdII, but just via the zeitronix on the c4.

I have a DashDaq on my diesel GMC 3/4 ton truck and it is great for monitoring all sorts of stuff while towing (IAT, trans temp, % load, etc).
