I don't worry about my carpet...I always drive with bare feet! Just like a second pair of hands! Cheers!

MrNvgtr, I keep planning an autocross at Front Range Airport east of Denver put on by Rocky Mountain Porsche Club. The next one is mid May. My problem is I keep finding items to sort, now I need new summer tires and an alignment. If you don't mind the drive to Denver you might try that.

Over the years of being into and having fun cars, I've yet to attend an autocross, DE, or any other track event, other than just hanging out at Sebring one time. It's mainly because I've never been around a group (until recently) who does it and I never had the extra money to have my car in track condition when I could go. Anyway, that's all changing this year. My car still won't be in the right condition (mainly due to bald tires), but I'm at least going to spectate and maybe do a ride-a-long. The auto crosses aren't really my style, but we'll see. They just seem a bit rough on a car. I'm really excited about DEs and open track time though. I don't mind the short drive up to Denver. I'm in the tip top north part of the Springs, so I'm hitting south Denver in only about 40 minutes. I think our PCA groups share some of the same events, so we'll probably cross paths in the near future.

Ha, haven't seen that show in ages...
Congrats on your upcoming promotion - and thank you for your service!

Very nice (but then I'm a little biased). Used to make it out to Denver a fair amount until recently. Beautiful place to drive a great car. I'm in the same spot as you when it comes to DEs. I think this may be the year to make the jump.

I was looking at this car last April. Never pulled the trigger though. Have fun with it. What did you end up getting it for?

Nothing incredible, but if you're really interested, it's the most recent reply (or was as of a few days ago) in the sticky at the top of the 964 forum.

Congrats! You're in good company with that color - dark green metallic was a favorite of Ferdinand (Ferry) Porsche.

Anyone ever tell you you look just like Gerald McRaney?
