Default Temp Sensor for OBC Help

I am looking for instructions on connecting the outside temperature sensor ( in the driver's side mirror) to work with the OBC in the tachometer. I have the temp sensor and the housing but I don’t know how to connect. Thanks in advance! ( I searched the furum but did not find any useful info)

Have you checked a wiring diagram yet?

The temp sensor has 2 wires into a multi pin connector using pin 2 (red/green) and 4 (brown/green). Since it is a thermister it really is only a resistance device where one side is connected to a controlled ground and the other to the signal input line. So, from there it goes into a multi pin connector on the on board computer, pin 2 to pin 8 and pin 4 to pin 10. It appears to be a simple connection between the sensor and the on board computer.

Geoffrey, Thanks for the response!!.
If I understood you correctly I need to connect the temp sensor only to the connector inside the mirror (to pin 2 and pin 4) and don’t need to run any wires to the back of the OBC tach, did I get it right? Also, how do I disassemble the mirror to get in there?

Thanks again,
Bill
