Heater Blower noise
I took my rear seats and panels out to send to the upholsterer - Very happy with the increased noise in the cabin. Strange...
But - since I can hear more, I can hear more wrong too...
So the question is this. When I am on the highway, 70 mph or so at 3k rpm, the heatrer blower makes a horrible worbly sound. Clutch in, sound goes away. Dial down the temp to zero, sound goes away.
Is that sound normal? How much sound should the heater blower make?

If you are talking about the rear electric blower, it should sound like a vacuum cleaner.
You might have bad bearings in the blower motor, I have a couple of links to suppliers on my web site:
(see the Interior fan cut out section)
