The reason I'm looking for this is to find out if the injector spray pattern is critical in the 964. Does the injector need to fire a narrow pencil stream straight down into the intake valve or is a wide pattern better or perhaps the pattern does not matter. Some injectors fire at an angle or in a cone shape. Also, how far is it from tip of the injector to the intake valve?

Anyone know?

I really doubt that it fires a "narrow pencil stream".

The injector more sprays to atomize the fuel better so it all burns evenly
If you have a pencil stream you have a partially clogged injector
