Ok the update is that I pulled and cleaned the cooler was deff dirty'er then I thought between the fins and installed the replacement piece of the t stat and for the first time actually saw my first real drop in temp when it opened up ! Yay! It had me thrown for a loop as I know I had oil flow to the cooler as I could feel the heat up there and I could watch the temp drop when the fan came on so I must assume it was opening just not all the way. Next track day is march 23rd so will no more then thank you to all for the help...

What are the max temps are you seeing during a session now that you replaced the thermostat and cleaned the cooler fins?

I did a Time Trial yesterday and was seeing 10 o'clock on the dial in a 6-8 min session, but never saw it higher than that. The temperature outside was in the 90s Fahrenheit. I'm not sure if that's normal, or still too hot.
