This is a no-**** story:

I had the 964 for about 6 months before I took it to work and sure as hell look who I run in to -

LAW - "I am pulling you over for "the appearance of going fast", now sir, where you going fast?"

ME - "So you're pulling me over because I looked like I was going fast? Officer, I am not sure if understand, the Grand Prix White paint that gives that appearance...Many, many people think these cars are going faster than they appear, it's actually quite common. If I were driving a red or perhaps black 911 we would not be having this conversation.

LAW - My car is white and I don't ever have a problem with getting pulled over.

ME - Do you drive a 911?

LAW - No

ME - Well that explains it.

I got pulled over right in front of headquarters during a major event and needless to say I got heckled by every passer by. I did not receive a ticket.
The conversation with the 18 year old was priceless.

Funny story but this statement is quite possibly true.

I now have a working theory that people can not see red and thus can never see me on the road or the damn stoplights and stop signs
