video posted earlier by vandit.

It's long (in German and boring) so you many have tuned-out by the time they were giving rides in the 964 RSR...

Found on the internet.

"At the World Athletics Championships 1993 in Stuttgart, Munich inszinierter the performance and design artist Wolfgang Flatz Prof. Baden-Württemberg for the club, the total work of art "Champion Piece".

For this purpose, an orange container-City was built on the one in the courtyard of the new castle. Transparent Walk on all sides and on four levels, originated from 220 standard containers (each 6 mx 2 mx 2,80m 50 walls orange, white frame) to the wells of the main courtyard of an urban landscape.

On both sides and on the front of the castle square, the Container City was flanked by a "mildew and black horses parade". This multiple sculpture consisted of 60 black and 30 white Porsche 964 Carrera 2. sealing strung together, the arrangement should according to the artist, one hand on the Baroque period that the castle with his driveway space for the horse, on the other hand the government vehicles that refer ancestors there today.

It is in this special model but otherwise a "normal" Porsche 964 Carrera 2 with the 1993 typical Equipment (Cup- mirrors and rims, airbag, etc. but no rear wiper) in white or black.

Evident is the special edition of the already known from the 964 Jubi "lugs" on the rear shelf. From the outside there is a Aluplakette on the word "Champion Piece - Limited Edition" and the number of the vehicle to see. From inside the lettering WM 93 and the emblem of the artist "Flatz".

At the time, the vehicles also had the lettering "" Champion Piece "as a sticker on the front cover."

Amusing... wonder what the interior smell was like of a brand new 964. Doubt it was a mixture of old leather, petrol and oil...

I also have a suspicion that Bruce Willis was in on the act too - 02:00 minutes and 12:06 minutes in...

Not a 964, but some great camera work and the car is a great example of less is more.
