When it was all over, I had enjoyed it so much that I redid much of the route backwards - no, Rob, not in reverse ;-) - just going with a nice flow, pretty much never even exceeding 60mph. It was a very pleasant unwind after the day.
Brian (W), I noticed your spoiler curtain is torn or missing, by the way.
Another run will be coming along soon. :-)
Plus, there's a little nosh-based get together to arrange with Norm.

If you're wondering if you'll enjoy it, well, relax - you will. And just as important, we will all enjoy meeting you and seeing your car.
You can go at your own speed. You don't have to follow me, neither do you have to keep up. Just make sure you know where we are headed. The whole idea is for you personally to have a fun day.
While I get plenty of thanks for arranging these things, the thanks belong with all of the participants. All the people there make it what is is. I'm just the jammy beggar who gets to pick the date and the roads! :-)

It looks like you lot had a great day out. A few of us in Northumberland got together on Saturday and had a run out. The weather was great and everyone seemed to have a good time.
It appears there were more 964's on the road this weekend than there has been for some time.

Great day had by all.
I agree with all the previous reports for the day. Great views, good roads, and very good company. A well recommended day out for anyone with doubts about coming. Thanks John, for the heads up about my spoiler curtain! I'll take a look this morning - something else to fix!! See you again soon, and I like the idea about a nosh up at Norm's place very much.

Fantastic to see this many 964's still getting a good run out.
Do you find you attract the boy racer crowd wanting to tag along to race a Porsche? We had one lad in a Seat who was having lots of fun running with us for a time.

Actually, the roads were very quiet.

Last year you guys did video? My wife was asking if you did again this year.... we watch them together...nice to see another part of the world. We were surprised so many house built so closely to the roads edge. Step out your front door right into traffic? Thanks for the posts!
