Is it lighter than stock? Should it make more power? What does it sound like compared to a Cat/Primary/G-pipe setup?

sorry bad cell phone pictures. No hp claims yet it is quieter then the by pass g pipe combos which is what our goals were. I plan to dyno in spring but we are kind of snowed/salted in. these are 321 and 304 stainless construction premuffler cant give prices on forum as that would not be proper looking for input as what people would like to see different. i have the tail pipe at the polishers will get good pictures this week. you can email me at ben@mkexhaust.com for more pictures... feed back please

For you not familiar with Ben HERE is a link to their website. They have been building Porsche exhausts for some time, I am looking forward to see the final product. Ben keep up the good work.

Cat replacement looks interesting, can you give some info on the silencer used (e.g. Internal diameter, 100% straight through vs. Baffles / chambers, glass-rock-steel wool )

Same goes for the end silencer, why does it feature such an akward entry path....???

Last but not least how does the weight compare to standard items?

+ 1 on Ben's mufflers. I purchased a two in two out for my 78 SC. Fantastic sound & construction.

Ben, you should consider becoming a site sponsor so you can market the new muffler here.

premuffler is straight through 5" diamter 2.5" straight through. Weight is way less then stock but I will get you weights shortly.

The design for the rear muffler coming inward towards the top was simply an adaption to our 1in1out for the 3.2 carreras as they are realitivly quiet we wanted to be on the same sound level. I am going to do one more prototype that has a different flow path and do back to back comparisons in spring.

Ben,
Will the in pipe on the left side of the muffler interfere with the muffler strap?
