Great thread Udo!

Please let us know when these are ready for market and how to buy them. Maybe we could set up a group buy?

(Note: I'm affiliated with these guys...not work related, they are just fantastic guys to hangout with.
They are alway working on project cars and going for fun drives. I'm lucky to know them as friends
but I get nothing from this test. I'm the only 964 guy in the group and they wanted to product test
on my car...not their customer's cars.)

As a 964 owner, I jumped at the chance to test the lights...especially when I saw how easy they were to install!

The lights are made by D-Zug, they are building stock right now.

AJ, we sent a reply to your email the day we got it, sorry if it did not make it through.

I just sent you a PM

Udo, thank you so much for the good write-up.

Pete and i worked REALLY hard to develop this kit ever since last November, when we drove from Belgium to Zurich in our 930. We drove most of the way at night, and were unable to see ANYTHING with H5's past 100mph (we were cruising at 120-140 most of the way throught Germany)

When the technology exists that makes seeing while driving a Toyota Prius better at night than these cars, something HAD to be done.

Cheers guys.

What? You don't get a set for being a tester?

One question, you may have already answered, but does your wiring design include relays? OR are you running all that through the switches (light and high/low) inside the car? Those are a real weak point when it comes to higher draw...

Our kit is not running relays, it uses the factory wiring. However, our HID kit places LESS draw on your factory wiring harness. Our kit draws 35w, 6 amps at start up and 3 amps at normal operating temps. Factory 55/60 watt halogen lights draw around 5 amps.

The lights are ready, we have a few sets in inventory.

I will do a rennlist group buy at a $75.00 discount per set if we can put together a minimum of 5 orders.

Crap you had to say that I am just finishing up building a house and it has gotten out of control. If I start having parts for my 964 show up my wife will not be happy at all.

This is nice Pete! What is the total price after discount? Would there be any additional discount if we can get 10 folks to participate in the group buy?

Everything is included with the kit(headlights, bulbs, ballasts, etc) except the H4 adjustment rings. you can re-use your H4 rings, search for a nice pair of used rings, or I can supply them new in the box from Porsche. another possibilty is modifing your H5 rings by dimpling and drilling the holes for the adjustment screws.
