Let there be light: 964 HID project

Billy will get a 'night shot' before me as I'm away for a week so the car is all wrapped up in the garage.
And yes green dash light out when moving to headlamps is normal, most modern cars do the same thing.

Photo taken from inside the car, about 12 feet from the garage wall, on a slight incline. The light pattern is pretty irregular round the edges as you can see but I can't say I noticed on the road.

That's a *horrible* pattern. 2 bright spots, a strong penumbra, blinds the oncoming traffic (in the UK), and does not light the side of the road, where cyclists, pedestrians or anything dangrous could be.

The pattern slightly improved when I swapped the bulbs over, left to right.
They failed the MOT because too much light was thrown in to the on-coming traffic.
On the road, despite the pretty poor throw of light, they are still miles better than standard bulbs and I've not had one person flash me to indicate they are being blinded.

You mentioned these T4W LED Osrams side light? Are they turn signal lights or are you referring something else?
Thanks

Hey folks,
I'm in the process of ordering the D-Zug HID kit. Can any of you tell me what spec bulbs go in the city light holders of the D-Zug kit? I don't need the bulbs to be functional however I do want to fill the holes with bulbs.
Thanks for the help!
