Not bad at all,.........since your lead and copper levels are low, it doesn't look like a rod bearing problem. Ferrous metal particles are often times from timing chains, sprockets, and intermediate shaft gears so all that is worth close inspection.

I'd also review what oil you are using and make sure it has sufficient ZDDP to protect the engine. Cams and rockers are not the only place inside the motor that require protection.

The valve covers are original and I'm familiar with the flaking paint problem, so could be. Hadn't realized they were painted on the inside as well...
