Good thought, but I'm way over on the other end...about a 5 hour flight. Agree with you about UPS vs USPS, I've had similar experiences. With UPS though, you can call them up and tell them you want to clear customs yourself. You pick up papers at UPS, go to Customs and pay whatever (less the brokerage), go back to UPS with stamped papers and pick up package. A bit of a hassle and you need a Customs office nearby, but it can pay off big in brokerage savings.

....and evaluation of shipping cost to Canada (no access to wonderful Point Roberts from here). I'll check into it today and post an update.
UPDATE: Sorry, looked into shipping and I can't be in on this one. Assuming the basic 2 pt is included in the GB even at -20%, the shipping still kills it for me.

Yes, we definitely do! I actually found out Friday that that last order came in, but I didn't want to resurrect this thread as I have been "bumping" the hell out of it everywhere
