yes the offset do not match the sliders ! you will have to get 2 plates at about 50 mm wide and 5mm thick to the length of the width of the seat then bolt those to underneath the seats , work out the holes on the sliders and then cut and paint in black...
you shouldn't remove the brackets of the seats, even try and turnaround the front ones as they will still not match , well certainly not remove the rear ones otherwise the system will collapse ....well you can always put it back put its a pain !

hi,
i fitted 997 hard backs.. the kit supplied by fvd (no affiliation) worked without any problems. the seats sit a bit higher and the space between the top of the seat and the roof liner is tighter.. but the fit, comfort are in my opinion much superior to the original 964 seats.. i tried the964 sports seats , amazing fit but i went with the 997s for a more defined and modern but not over the top look.. another reason was availabilty and geographic location, the 997s came up for sale at an amazing price so i snapped them , after reupholstering in black nappa and painting the hardbacks.. here's the result

Beautiful 997 seats as well... really fit with the car I think!

Nice picture for your avatar,

You could use them with harness or simply with the original seat belts,
The other advantage is that they weight about 14 kg each .....

Following up on my earlier post.

I got the estimate back from Heritage Trim for converting the stock and mildly worn seats into new Sport seats. $2580 all in. I was hoping for something closer to half that and must have misunderstood my first phone call with Heritage. That's a bit much for me...

It would be cheaper to just buy new seats. We always have a wide selection of new and used recaors in stock and ready to recover. You can see some of our work here..

I found a pair of recovered 944T sport seats (direct bolt in including power plug) and was amazed how well these seats hold me in place on the track.
