Default 964 Go Pro Demo

I got my brother (in Phoenix) a Go Pro Hero2 for Christmas and he sent me a video of it's maiden voyage in our 964 C2 from up around Jerome, AZ (89A). Nothing special but great sound. The suction cup mount works well (mounted on the passenger window) but a roll bar mount is now on the way in time for our next event in February. Hope you all enjoy.

Nice man. Were you using the open or waterproof case?

I'll try to make some vids w/ mine tomorrow. I also got a Hero2 for Xmas.

the open case for in-car. He said he used the closed case when he mounted it outside the car to minimize wind noise.

Nice Video..! No roads like that around Washington DC, unfortunately.

I've used my go-pro on racing catamarans , where we go over half the waves and through the rest, and can attest to it's being totally waterproof and a great product. Sound quality is not too good with waterproof case on, as one might imagine.

Nice, have just ordered one for myself. Will be very interesting to see how much of a difference the Hero2 with the exterior microphone option is compared to the original Hero.

Very Nice. Your car sounds great in the camera's mic. What's the exhaust on your vehicle?

I went out and tried mine on Saturday and got it all edited up this afternoon.

Filmed with GoPro Hero2. The car has EvoMS Intake and G-pipe.

Windows Movie Maker fuxored the audio regardless of what settings I used. The original video sounds deeper and doesn't have that clipping/rattle noise.

Nice Vandit! Great 91 too!!! I have one just like it, same year, color etc...

I am not all that video swift. Is this fairly intuitive? I'd love to start filming the car and my track days.

Thanks for this thread. Happy New Year all

Thanks Chris! I like your car a bunch. My goal is to get my suspension dialed down like yours. Currently rolling 20yo junk. The car is a handful. Check my other autocross vids.

As far as the GoPro, it is very simple and intuitive. The tricky portion for me is that the camera shoots in MP4 format, and I'm a PC user so none of my applications could edit it. I didn't feel like spending money on Sony Vegas or some other video editing application, so I ended up using a free application called Pazera to convert from MP4 to MPEG then used Windows Movie Maker to edit the clips. I lost audio quality in the process.
