Where Are You?
I just saw the thread Slightly updated list of Canadian 964 Rennlisters and thought, wouldn't it be great to have something like a Google Earth view where Rennlisters could post there location for all to see? I'm always curious where "posters" are located, especially those nearby and on the opposite side of the Earth.
Just an idea with no concept of how it could be accomplished.
Any interest?

P.S. Pins could be located near actual addresses, not necessarily right on them, to avoid thieves using the thread to locate our cars. (Not a problem for me. My place is so remote, I can't even find my own way home some nights.)

I subscribed to a Rennlist 964 Map several years ago on Google Maps. I am not exactly sure how to distribute or invite folks to post on it. I believe that you will need a Google account (not necessarily a gmail account).

How would we get this back in operation and make it easier for all to sign on?
I only had a few minutes to look at this. Is it interactive so that clicking on a flag takes you to the useer name?

One of the key requirements is that you have a Google account (not a big or bad deal anyway).
Yes, you can zoom in and click on any of the tags and see the person/user name and any info they may have included.

Great idea!!!! I think that I am the only 964 Rennlister from South America - located in Buenos Aires City - Argentina.(raised and born here- 1952 - )
