Default Anyone ever bought a car from Victory Motor Cars in Houston Texas?

I've been on their website a few times and seen their ebay sales. It looks like they have some really nice cars. They mostly have low miles, great condition, everything in good working shape, etc but they aren't giving them away. They seem to be asking a premium for them. Anyone delt with them before? Just curious.

As a buyer, it is your responsibility to have the car inspected prior to the sale via a PPI, carfax, contacting prior owner, etc.

I have read several threads about this dealer. I have never had any dealings with them but if the proper steps in the buying process are taken, I would not rule out buying a car from this dealer or any dealer.

I am glad you are still looking. I have read a few of your posts.

After a lot of reading on Victory, I can say i will not be buying a car from them. Very interesting reading. There were some good comments on Victory, but mostly bad stuff. Don't think I want to deal with a company that does business like that. I have come to the conclusion that no matter who you buy from, it is imperative to see the car, drive it, and have a PPI done. I'll keep looking.

Run, don't walk from Victory. If you really want to check out a nifty little outfit, look at Euromasters out in San Diego. They sell completely refurbished air-cooled porches of your specifications(color options, etc.) for an excellent price. You can get a completely refurbished 964 with a full warranty for around $27K. I bet Victory can't touch that.

Euromasters has closed their doors a few months ago.

I visited their shop in Houston when I lived in Louisiana several years ago. This was before I owned my car. I loved the visit as I was coveting a p-car and there were a bunch of nice cars, but it'd be interesting to see it now.

I purchased a 965 from Victory. After reading the bad reviews and looking deeper into them, I came to the conclusion that even though they sell alot of air cooled cars, they are still in the business of selling cars. Regardless of what car you buy or from who you buy it from, you need to check the car out yourself and/or have a third party do it. My dealings with Victory were very enjoyable and I would do business with them in the future. If you have any questions feel free to PM me.
