Default Indoor 964 car cover?

Can anyone recommend company who can supply a good quality indoor only car cover designed to fit 964's. I have looked around online and have a few names and sites but would appreciate more opinions.

I would prefer to buy from the USA due to the favourable US to AUD exchange rate.

Thanks Matt

There's a genuine OEM Porsche cover on eBay.au, auction ending tomorrow - originally for a 996, however.

The OEM Silverguard covers are meant to be very good. I've just bought one from Pelican, but haven't had a chance to fit it as the car is off at the detailers currently.

For cars without fixed spoilers, the Genuine Porsche car cover for your car would be part number 00004320201. A few hundred dollars, and you have one of the nicest indoor covers money can buy. Specially tailored for your 964, and emblazoned with a nice Porsche crest on the hood.

You can get them from a number of suppliers.

(The Porsche Silverguard cover I bought from Pelican has the part number PNA-508-911-OEM. Approx $200 + post.)

Thumbs up

I agree with this. Great cover...a little more $ than some but worth it IMO

Thanks for the feed back, I will check out both options now.

Hey Peter, part number PNA-508-911-OEM is for 1965-89 cars?

Thanks Brad, I will take a look at the original cover. I can see them online for around US$300

I have been assured that the fitment is correct for the 964 as well. This remains to be seen :-). Although it does make sense considering that the shape and proportions of the 964 are basically that of the SC/Carrera 3.2.

The earlier 911 cars are a bit smaller than the 964s--I gave a friend my pre-89 cover and it was a VERY tight fit on her 964.

I found some nice covers online from a company called Specialised Covers, price wasn't too bad until they tried to charge me £175 for shipping to Australia........hmmmmm, not today.

Thanks guys, I ended up purchasing the OEM cover from type911shop.co.uk for £200 + shipping. I will post a photo of it on the car when it arrives.
