Here's something a little more old school. 16 inch Fuchs.
Although I've never seen it done, I just did the math on the offsets and it's doable. The 6x16 Fuchs have an offset that would work, but they'd need to be widened on the inside to be able to fit a reasonable tire. Ideally, use a 6x16 and widen to an 8. The low offset would mean running a tire wider than a 205 might be a bit much.
Rears would be no problem at all. Several options.
I like the old school meaty tire look.

And one more for the D90 fans. 8 inch fronts and 9 inch rears, although 9 inch rears are pretty tough to come by.
If I could find a pair of 8 inch D90's I'd run this setup in the winter on my C4 (square setup, all 8's).
