Very sorry, but I just saw this!

I run 275/35/18 rears and 245/35/18 fronts. The tires in those pictures are Hoosier R6s, but I also like the Hankook Ventus Z214 C51s in the same sizes.

We were just screwing around with the tail piece. What do you think? I'm thinking about taking that part off and replacing with a "Carrera 2" badge painted orange. The back needs some color...

I agree, I have the same car, same color, same wheels, same calipers,... and I went with silver based also on this tread. I also believe that the black Carrera script is really hard to se on midnight blue so I went with a Silver script from a 993.

the colour is great.

still think you should have used the porsche font from the '90s and not the porsche font from the '70s.

@SML,

The Carrera script on my car is basically the same "font" as the on decklid of the 3.2 Carrera, the 964 Carrera, and the 993 Carrera (the 993 rear emblem is a bit smaller, but the same script).

The script you have is the 996/997 script from 1999-2009. You can tell from the open-topped a's. They used a similar font on the Boxster, Cayman and Cayenne. I'm not even sure if Porsche ever made a factory Carrera stripe for the 996/997 cars...did they, or were they all aftermarket?

On the 964, I prefer the "air-cooled" stripe! LOL But to each his own.
