Entertaining power mirror issue

Left mirror: left and right adjustment works
Right mirror: up and down adjustment works

And now when I flush my toilet the tv turns on...

I took the mirror switch apart and all of the contacts look clean. As far as I know the left up+down and right L+R functions failed at the same time.

Ideas? Exorcism?

That does seem odd. Do you have access to the electrical schematics? Maybe there is a coming cause but its not obvious to me.

Circuit diagrams aren't up anywhere on the web are they?

I was afraid this would be a one-off electrical issue.

Are they original flag or replacement teardrop mirrors? If the latter, I would suggest checking that the mirrors have been wired up correctly.

Original, stock, flags.

Had the driver's fender off last year for some rust repair. Not sure if the wiring through the door jamb could have been effected? I wouldn't think so. No other work in the area.
