Default what spares do you carry in the car?

My 1990 C4 has finally arrived in Europe after its cruise across the seas from LA. Since I only had a chance to drive the car in the US for a day I will now have my first chance to get to know the car driving it from Rotterdam back to Prague (900 km).

What spare parts do you typcially have in the car. So far I have fan belts, DME relay, Multi use relay, coil, fuses, rotor arm and distributor cap.

I carry fan belts, oil, fuses, DME relay, a can of fix a flat, jumper cables and a flashlight.

In all of my travels in the past 20 years, I've used all but the fuses.

That's a good list. In addition consider, jumper cables, some metric wrenches and sockets, bottle of engine oil, mechanics gloves and shop rags/paper towels.

Do you have the full factory tool kit ?
It takes some special tools to replace the fan belt .

Do you have the big plastic bag for the dirty wheel ?

Have the air compressor and the factory tool kit for the belt wrenches and some assorted multi tools. But forgot about a big bag for a tire, so thanks for the reminder.

No glock and reloads though, those probably got confiscated by customs when the container got inspected

Ah, so they replaced it with a CZ-75 instead?

Sorry...

In all seriousness, I carry a DME relay, fan belt, spare tire/compressor/bag, and all the tools to replace said spares. But most importantly, a cell phone and a AAA card (though with the aforementioned spares, I've not needed it yet).

Quick Reply: what spares do you carry in the car?
