Default '91 turbo question

hey, wondered what you guys think about a car i'm looking at. lots of miles, but it sure looks clean. i've had an '86 targa, a '98 targa, and now have an '04 C4S -- all with fewer miles than this one. i would imagine upkeep will be more. how about how the car feels? and sounds? just want some input. thanks. i don't know how to insert the link, but it's at Brighton motorsports in Scottsdale Arizona.

It does look clean. The PO must have had the seats redone which is a good sign as far as I'm concerned. They sure spent top dollars for the paint job! They don't mention anything about any engine work though so you'll want to dig into that if you haven't already.

You need a turbo expert to chime in here. I was only looking at NB's so I'm not much help.

I will say that the price is in the ball park from what I've seen. It seems to me that the key thing is the engine/turbo and what work has been completed because, from everything I've read, turbo cars do cost more to maintain. I'd also like to know if the repaint was just for freshening up or if there was some damage.

For your PPI, I can recommend Chris at TurboKraft in Mesa (480.969.0911) and Jack at Stuttgart SouthWest in Tempe (480.968.6764) . I have experience with both and they are very knowledgable. I would try Chris first.

Even if you don't get a PPI there, call Chris, he can answer any question you may have about a turbo charged 911.

Good luck.

The money seems like it is in the ballpark anyways.
