Welcome Mike,
I like the collection! I don't remember VW engines looking like that? Very cool. I love the some of the old VW colors, that blue grey color looks fantastic...would look great on a 964, what is it?
I really like the fact that you've owned the speedster for 15 years! Very mean looking with those wheels.
Best,
Udo
Welcome! Love both cars. I too am an old VW Bug fan. I have owned 3. Here's a picture of my last one as it was being loaded onto a transporter. I sold it to my brother's best friend. Its a 1970 with a 2110 cc motor. Loads of fun.
@911Jetta: the colour of the bug is called "pacific-blue met." It is an orginal Porsche colour from the early 80's. When I saw it at that time on a G-model, I felt immediately in love with the colour . Seems I was an early one, by painting a lot of bodyparts (door handles, headlight rings, the star of the Fuchs in body colour. Today similar style is called german style. I guess it fits, since I'm german too
@g60pops: yap, that are STROSEK mirrors (pure manual)
I like the speedster as plain as possible. It came RS interior, without aircon, no airbags.
The hood is original RS (Aluminium) Car is equipped with big reds and with Bilstein B16-PSSP. Can't wait for the next summer
Very best regards
Mike
