Since I'm at a point in my life where time is worth a lot more than money, I'm going to try something crazy.
Beginning today, I'm listing my car for $19,995 on Craigslist (and that will be the only place where I have an ad), and every weekend the price is going down $1,000 until the car is sold.
I bought the car for $16,500 in 2008, and have spent $21,750 on improvements (not including new tires and battery):
Engine rebuild at TRG in Petaluma, CA
New clutch
New fuel pump
New Fabspeed exhaust (by-pass)
New brake rotors and pads
128,000+ miles
The car is in great condition, no leaks, no issues, the only thing that doesn' t work is A/C and I don't have the code to unlock the radio.
Car has had no accidents, no damage, the paint is in excellent condition except for fading on the rear plastic spoiler and on top of the side-view mirrors
I ran a Carfax and it came back clean - from what I can tell, the car has spent its entire life in California
The interior is in excellent condition except for the carpet, which is just OK.
So, that's everything I know about the car, I'm not jumping through any more hoops or doing anyone any more favors, all a waste of time.
Someone will get a very nicely sorted 964 for a good price.
Thanks,
Andy

Based on your listing, 19.9K is a great deal.
You must have been jerked around based on your last comments. Hang in there! Hold firm on your asking price--in my opinion. Beautiful car.
Someone will get a great buy. GLWS!

Yes, I'm tired of dealing with people who really don't know what they are doing. I always try to deal with others honestly and with integrity. Seems like a lot of people don't believe in that anymore.
Just tire of wasting my time, that's all.

LOL, I looked up that steering wheel too since I have the same interior color and I thought it looked great. Nice wheels on the car too plus I like the exterior color. This car shouldn't take long to sell.

Great looking car! The linen interior goes really well with Baltic blue! Interesting way of selling the car. Would love to see how much it goes for. I've been lusting after 964s lately and yours looks just like what I'd like to get at some point...
Seeing that you have a CR-210 PM me the serial number of the radio and I'll give you the code. To get the serial without taking the radio off you need to press "tone," then hold both the '0' & '8' buttons until the radio name appears. Then scroll to PR-VERSION using the tuning arrow. Now you should be able to retrieve the serial number by selecting the station preset numbers.

Nice looking car... assuming that somebody picks it up for $18-$19k, they've got a great deal with the recent work. Figure that a typical '89 C4 with 120k miles is worth $15k untouched, and then add in new clutch/rebuild/other work. What's wrong with the A/C?
They can then spend some of the savings on new wheels (sorry, just don't care for those,
