Is that Millersport in Hillsborough?

I really enjoyed the story and pics. It's great to see 964s in a totally different setting than I get to see them over here in Blighty. Thanks for sharing

Great photos and story.

I had the thrills of pulling a "Dukes of Hazard" power slide making a right turn onto a road that was recently repaved with gravel and tar by the Nuke Plant.

Thanks for the nice comments. It's fun looking for unique things to shoot the 964 against. A pro could get much more out of each photo opp., but it's fun none the less. Taking pictures helps me take the blinders off and really enjoy what's around me.

Yeah Tom, that's Chuck's place. Lots of cut up cars in the lot. For a second I crossed my fingers hoping the car would start.

John,
What's up with NC-DOT? I was so focused on the road I didn't notice the "gravel" sign just after the turn. I think Adrian, following me, saw it and said what the hell is that guy doing? It threw up such a dust cloud you wouldn't believe it, I couldn't see his car for about ten seconds until the dust settled.

All part of the adventure.

Udo......Is that Adrian pumping gas in his toy?.......The pictures are stunnning...Had to show the wife as well so I can prep her for when I come home late if we ever meet up.

Lot's of great looking pictures....

I actually felt bad for the old Porsche's laying around and rusting away.....

That's Adrian.
I have a great picture of him showing the true extent that we go to get pictures with wacky camera angles (I'll load it tonight). We aren't afraid to get dirty.

DEFINITELY tell the wife you'll be late. Definitely.
I knew it wasn't looking good for Adrian when he started asking me early on when we'll get back. I did my best pout and said we haven't even driven the super twisty parts yet. I tried to help him out by driving even faster. =;>

As if the costs of used Porsches and fuel weren't low enough in the U.S, the price of smokes in NC ($3.15 / pack) will make the Europeans come over in droves :-)

That's great! Plus you can get some for free on the side of the road...
Hope your West Coast trip is working out. We need a RLer to meet up with Laker and take him out on some real roads!
