Hi folks,
Any tips on removing the under dash knee pads on the early dash (without glove box).
I'd like to drop them off at the leather trimmers but cant find a write up!

There are 3(I think) 8mm nuts, which bolt onto studs on the pads each side just undo them and they pull off
They are a pig to get too, and you will get scraped knuckles
Bolts are facing back towards you as you sit in the car

I'm posting your door pocket bit on Monday sorry been supa biz at work.....
I did mine this way
Left side, screw at end of dash take black plastic bit off (has a bit of 3m tape holding on)
Push vent out (sping clips on top)then you can see the screw right in corner that's holding the dash bottom on then run your pinkys along and you will find x2 8mm nut/washers you need a stubby 8mm on a 1/4 ratchet
Right side, the same
I gave my vents a good clean as they were out as the dust had got right in the nooks and ....good luck

Thanks for all that guys!
My lower dash is the early type without glove box so doesn't have the end caps. Hopefully ccu wont need removing for these early dashes and only bolts at back and a screw at each end.
Thanks again!
