Default can you drive without abs ecu plugged in?

Hi fellas i wanted to remove my abs ecu/controler so that i could ship it to uk to try and have it rebuilt and was wondering if i remove the controler can i still drive the 964 around safely or will it cause my brakes to fail under normal driving conditions ? It is a 89 c4.

they will work but you will get the big warning light in and the "gong" warning sound, but confirm it with the "i-button" on the console and you'll be fine. But no ABS of course!
