Default Edinburgh Porsche Meet 3.8 RS

The PCGB Scottish section held its annual concours just outside Edinburgh today as expected some lovely cars, personal favorite is the 3.8 RS 1 of only 2 RHD produced also a midnight blue RS with 2000 miles (no pics unfortunately)

Did they all have black headlight trim rings?

I think you'll find that it doesn't have trim rings as a weight saving measure. The black is the headlamp shell itself.

There was 2 RHD delivered in the UK and 1 RHD delivered in Australia. I believe it was delivered in Melbourne but now based in Brisbane

My favourite Porsche by far

If that car were in my presence, I fear that I would not be able to stop myself from licking it.

Please note : 3 RS 3,8 RHD do exist - two for UK and one for Hong Kong !

The shown white car is the only true RHD 3,8 RSR in the world !!

That red 3.8 RS lived next to my 993 RS albeit for a couple of months in a classic car dealer. The paint was faded pink at the time. I wonder if it had a repaint or just surface oxidation removed.

Car looked absolutely mint, not sure a detail would have brought it up as nice so may well have been painted, had a bit of a discussion on the value of this car and some pretty eye watering numbers suggested.

the white one looks equally stunning.
