That receipt won't leave a mark, but some will. I always keep my receipts for maintenance history, but I never look at them or total them up. You have to ante up to get to play this game, and the road is littered with bitter owners who never factored in regular maintenance costs into the equation for owning a Porsche. My advice is to do all the tasks you can yourself (you will learn alot, but requires patience), find a mechanic you can trust (for the big stuff) and enjoy the car by driving it as often as you can. I always figure the costs to own and maintain a Porsche are averaged by the number of miles driven. It "seems" less expensive when you get a lot of seat time.
Enjoy your new wipers and a spare DME relay will save your butt one day (maybe far from home)!

If it makes you feel better, I just paid that for my Cayenne wiper blade refils.
As others have said, never, ever add up your receipts. Period!

I know that you just bought your dream, but for wiper blades, any 13" and 16" blade will work. Did you really need new arms?
Also, why 2 DME relays?
I save my coins on the common parts so I can afford the engine rebuild that I'm currently doing.

To be clear... I'm not complaining at all. Actually I'm pretty excited to start swapping out the old parts for the new squeaky-clean replacements. I'm starting with the cheap/easy stuff, obviously... it's a long road.
I have no buyer's remorse at all, the car is awesome to drive and will only get better.
Cheers.

I see you purchased a DME relay as a spare. I have done so as well after all of the advice on here.
My questions are: what are the symptoms of a bad DME and where does it go when it needs replacing?
I said I purchased on. I didn't say I know what to do with it.
Thanks!

I'm suprised the DME relays were the old part number and 25 dollars - I bought the new part number from sunset recently for 60 dollars each...(and I bought two as well to have a spare in the car) - so yes smokey - the part number apparently changed according to sunset.
