Since this sounds urgent, could you not use a section of flexible pipe in the meantime? (like in the older 911s?)

Andy, I certainly could - I could also bolt the heater blower back on, but don't want to as it is cleaned and packed away.

True to form, a Lister may indeed have one for me...but secondary offers are welcome to cover my ace.

I copied ian89c4's heater bypass mod...it was worth the $20 to try it at least.

- I used 3 inch flexible automotive hosing (2 feet long?)
- Fits great on both ends and was very easy to cut small holes for the vent tubes (no tape needed).
- Fits perfectly at the top of the fan shroud..perfect diameter match and only requires a thin clamp to hold it in place.
- I added 1/2 weather stripping at the other end, and a simple clamp.
- The flexible plastic material is pretty strong, so after cutting small holes for the vent hoses, put can push the hoses on.
- 8 months without any issues.
- $20 total cost.

Thanks for the idea Ian

Kai may want a carbon tube, but this has proven to be simple and very effective mod for anyone wanting to delete their heat blower motor...

Ian's thread (see post #13) https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=19642

first pic of Ian's bypass, 2nd pic of my engine.

Great mod!!! I flat don't have the time right now, but I prefer the above far more than an expensive piece of carbon bling which I'll use for exactly a year.

The carbon is indeed pretty.

Typical R.L...one of ours is sending me his (planned for his install this winter) so that I may be up and running in time. Thanks Ian!
