Are all you guys with the super slow ride height using cup/993RSR uprights to reduce bump steer or is that really not much of a problem when lowering a 964?

it has been implied that anything below, correct me if I'm wrong, RS + 5mm or so starts to get into trouble.

as Mike asks, what are the solutions for low ride height bump steer etc.? is it severe or acceptable?

You´ve to try by yourself what works and what does not work. Last year, just after installing my calipers, the car was great. Also on topspeed on german autobahn (5th gear, revs in the red)...
But during the winter, the calipers settled down some milimeters and the car was awesome, driving faster than 200kph...
Now, i increased the ride high some milimeters with corner balancing and the handling improved a lot. I still ride lower than RS, but it works well...

I changed nothing than calipers and swaybars. Bushings, tie rods and ball joints are also new...

regards

Nice Norm. Lot's of goodness there. Maybe now that it's cooling down here I should get on it and drop a few mm myself.

Interesting to hear that folks are not having trouble with lowered suspension with regards to bump steer. Are the bigger problems with rubbing and wheel fitment? I'm thinking 265 in the back isn't too greedy. Are those ET 65 w 21mm spacers?

265 is an easy fit with the right offset.

i have 10ET40 and it required full neg camber (2 degrees) and a very slight fender roll.

ET44 should be correct for an easy 265 install with some neg camber.

Lower than Euro ride height, but I don't remember the numbers.
