Default 1990 C4 - where to grind to fit wheels?

I'm a new 964 C4 cab (and new Porsche) owner. Love the car.

Am about to fit a set of 17" 55 offset cup II wheels to the car with 225's on the front. I've read Adrian's book and read tons of articles about this. I have 5mm spacers (couldn't find 3mm anywhere) and the 10mm steerings stops on the way.

The book and forum posts also mention grinding a bracket on the 1990 cars to prevent rub. Can anyone please describe in detail where this bracket is located? Or better yet, maybe some pics?

I can't find the technical service bulletin anywhere. Does anyone have it or know where I can get it?

Thanks in advance!

It is at the outer front edge of the wheelwell where the fender meets the body.

Yup, once the fender lip is rolled this sticks out in a sharp point. It's the same on my 3.2.

Can someone describe exactly what fender rolling is and how it is done. I think I know but want to get a clarification.
Thanks.

Looked at it last eve - seems only about 1/4" or so could be ground off that bracket, otherwise you'd risk weakening the fastener there.

Sound about right?
